David is a Divisional Environmental Health Officer working for South Lanarkshire Council managing a combination of teams covering a variety of Environmental Health functions. He has worked in both public and private sectors with the ongoing objective of trying to ”make a difference”. David is currently Senior Vice President of the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) a Fellow of the Institute and has been a Chartered EHO since 2004. He is committed to promoting Environmental Health and its contribution to Public Health. He represents REHIS’s at the Scottish Pollution Control Co-ordinating Committee, covering Air, Noise & Contaminated Land and has given evidence to Scottish Government on their behalf.
