eRally Motorsport have built and competed in the World’s first fully-electric rally car.
First seen in public at the Coventry MotoFest in June 2016, co-driven by EV advocate and Fully-Charged presenter, Robert Llewelyn, also of Red Dwarf and Scrapheap Challenge fame.
Since then the team have worked with the Motor Sports Association (MSA) to agree and form the safety regulations for motor clubs so the car can compete in officially sanctioned MSA rallies in the UK. In October 2017 the eRally Zoe made its first competitive debut in the Adgespeed Stages rally at Three Sisters circuit in Wigan. The in-car crew consisted of ex-junior rally champion Cameron Davies and Andrew Blackwood, current junior Ecosse rally driver.
