Jacob is Energy Saving Trust’s lead on ultra-low emission vehicles and air quality, managing projects on behalf of Transport Scotland, the UK Department for Transport and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles. His activities cover ULEV infrastructure planning; business case development; real-world demonstrators; market research & ULEV adoption forecasting and; guidance for consumers, business and public sector organisations.
With a background in local government, focussing on low carbon economic development, Jacob has first-hand experience of the challenges facing local authorities in balancing environmental and economic demands. Jacob has also worked with businesses of all sizes, sharing a well-developed understanding of the most cost-effective routes to low-emission transport. By building effective partnerships between organisations, both public and private, Jacob believes we can achieve a future where transportation is clean, sustainable and affordable to all.
