Renewable Energy Association
As the UK’s largest trade association for renewable energy and clean technologies, and with sector groups for technologies including solar, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, the REA is ideally suited to speak to Government and regulators about the wider transition to a more flexible, decentralised, low-carbon energy system.
Join the REA’s electric vehicle sector group us to input your views on key positions around building standards, charging infrastructure, energy, transport and planning policy, and more. Learn about business models, case studies, policy reform, and how the market is developing. Grow your brand’s exposure and network with key stakeholders, thought leaders, and the wider industry. Engage with the wider flexible energy and clean tech sector to help deliver needed reforms.
The REA is already leading the debate by authoring numerous reports, including the EV Forward View which has been raised in the Chamber of the House of Commons. We are advocating for permitted development rights outside of Scotland, “right to plug” policies, and enhanced building standards. The REA additionally serves as the secretariat to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Electric and Automated Vehicles, a cross-party ground of around 30 members of the houses of parliament with an enthusiasm to develop the industry.
